SRX25521197: Shotgun Metagenomics of artificial consortia with PP as carbon source
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina NovaSeq 6000) run: 70.3M spots, 21.1G bases, 6.6Gb downloads

Design: Amplify the whole metagenome
Submitted by: Darwin Bioprospecting Excellence
Study: Metagenomic and metatranscriptomic raw reads from different artificial consortia in the context of a study on the degradation of PP and PE polymers. Raw sequence reads
show Abstracthide Abstract
This submission contains metagenomic and metatranscriptomic raw reads from 4 artificial consortia (3 biological replicates each) analyzed to identify potential enzymes for the degradation of polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE). This work was performed as part of the ENZYCLE project, which aims to valorize non-recycled plastic fractions through enzymatic processes and address the issue of microplastics.
Sample: Artificial consortia AC5 in M9 minimal medium growth with PP as carbon source (replicate 3)
